For the first 2 years of Carnival Rewards, your guaranteed minimum status level will be the same as your VIFP Club status level as of May 31, 2026 – but you can always earn a higher status level.

When Carnival Rewards launches, you’ll be granted at least your VIFP Club status (as of May 31, 2026) for the first 2 years. That means sailing now could boost your minimum starting status level.

Your Fun Points® will flip! Already a cardmember? The balance of the Fun Points® you earn will convert to Carnival Rewards Points when our new program launches.

Here’s what you can do now to get ready for its official launch in June 2026.
- Check your current VIFP Club status level
- Make sure your account info is up to date
- Keep sailing; cruises you take before May 31, 2026 will earn status days, cruises taken after June 2026 will earn points and stars
- Continue to spend with your Carnival® World Mastercard®; all your remaining Fun Points® will flip when Carnival Rewards launches
